Ideawire work leads to three IABC Silver Quills

ideawire, Inc. earned three Silver Quills at IABC’s Annual Regional contest, hosted in Denver. It also worked on projects that earned an additional two Silver Quills by USAA.
The awards are all in print projects: for the Inside USAA newsletter, the USAA Employee Benefits Enrollment Guide and the USAA Wellness Brochure. USAA work won a total of five awards.
“We can’t wait to receive these – the Silver Quills mark ideawire’s successes at a national level,” said ideawire President, Mark Harlien. Both ideawire and USAA plan on traveling to Colorado this month to accept the awards together.
For 2009 Quill consideration, ideawire is taking some of USAA’s print projects to a digital, online format, saving USAA money and expanding media scope for employee communication. This strategy includes providing options for mobile devices. “We’ve had Blackberry development tools for some time, and were recently informed by Apple Inc. that our application as an iPhone developer had been approved,” Harlien said. “So I hope we have more results for our clients for next year’s Quills.”
